Acute Marketing Manager

What are you going to do?

The Acute Marketing Manager (AMM) must have a working knowledge of financial documents and understand pricing and forecasting methods. The AMM also works closely with the sales team and provide sales tools and marketing materials to support the sales process to achieve revenue goals. The AMM ensures that business is conducted in a professional manner according to Mediq Product Solutions goals, shared values and policies and procedures. 

Principal responsibilities and accountabilities

Main responsibilities:

  • To define objectives and budgets for product areas with the Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Generate marketing campaign plans and revenue forecasts for specified products channels.
  • Implement strategies tactics product price promotion and distribution arising from the approved.
  • Monitor the external environment and rapidly propose amendments to the marketing plan as required.

Product Management:

  • Manage the portfolio lifecycles from strategic planning to deletion.
  • Competitor and product feedback to the SMD and sales function.
  • Ensures compliance with internal systems policies and procedures.
  • Work with the clinical team on clinical trials and case studies and product portfolio management and development.
  • Manage product related administration.
  • Maintain awareness of changes and development in healthcare practices and processes.
  • Manage the new product introduction process encompassing launch training and key customer liaison.
  • Channel inputs for product development to the Sales Director.
  • Ensures relevant reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Grow Revenue

  • Responsible for overall revenue generation of product portfolio build effective relationships with direct and indirect sales channels and main maintain customer contact.
  • Be recognized as the first line of product and marketing information for the sales team. 
  • Network with field-based staff to improve knowledge of products, clinical practice and competitors.
  • Speak at local regional and national meetings internal and external.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase revenue and develop appropriate business case justifications.
  • Assist sales team in tendering (including formulary review)- strategy and technical specifications.
  • Work with territory managers to develop product implementation and conversion plans. 

What is your background?
  • Unique degree in business administration, marketing, life science or equivalent (desirable).
  • You possess relevant professional experience in a similar role.
  • You have excellent relationship building skills.
  • You are a very good communicator, structured and know how to bring a proposal to multiple stakeholders.
  • Team player strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial orientation
