What are you going to do?
The Director Indirect Sourcing will be responsible for defining and aligning key procurement strategies with executive leadership. And is directly involved in strategic projects including in-/outsourcing decisions. The scope is global and spans across all categories with special focus on Information Technology, Supply Chain, HR, Consultancy and others.
He or she will benchmark internal practices against the external world and drives transformation via the supply base. And ensures effective use of budgets by challenging budget owners on their procurement requirements and negotiating best value for money.
The Director Indirect Sourcing will lead a high performing procurement team of 3 direct reports and has oversight of an external service provider that provides project based procurement services to Mediq.
Preferably he/she has a background in IT procurement as some of these projects require direct support.
