National Sales Manager

What are you going to do?

We are looking for a Sales Manager who has experience in the healthcare / medical supplies industry and has the ability to lead a remote sales team. This role is field based so you will be expected to travel and meet frequently with the sales team and have a track record in leading a team to exceed sales targets.

Further responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development and training and support of Key Account Managers
  • Effectively communicate across the KAMs expectations and business priorities to drive the sales growth strategy
  • Effectively manage sales activities in line with company SOPs and SDMA code of conduct
  • Identify training needs and build training plans on an individual basis
  • Development and regular review of National and territory business account plans to deliver on sales growth targets
  • Utilise all available sales tools, marketing plans, sales data, CRM to develop customer centric value propositions
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
  • Market Access at account level to develop strong relationships with multiple customers
  • Allocate company sales targets and review performance on a monthly basis with clear SMART plans to identify GAPS and accelerate growth
  • Market assessment of new products and line extensions
  • Sales input into tenders, contracts and pricing discussions
  • Work closely with marketing manager in development of marketing campaigns
  • Critically assess changing market environment such as competitor activity, impact of ICS changes
What is your background?
  • Demonstrable understanding of the healthcare system, the impact of NHS changes and the opportunities to align the value offering to maximise the sales impact
  • Ability to synthesize complex information from current and future environments to present clear plans to SMT
  • Agility – positively responding to and proactively anticipating opportunities
  • Drive to ensure success
