Head of Mediq Own Brand Enabling Functions

Do you want to be able to work in a cross functional international matrix environment, converge deviating views to an aligned set of priorities and requirements? Do you have excellent stakeholder management skills and a positive can-do mentality? And can you deliver on target, together with the professional category management and sourcing teams? The Head of Mediq Own Brand (MOB) enabling functions is responsible for the product development process, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and brand marketing of Mediq Own Brands. You will also have an import role in creating synergy between global categories and driving efficiency on MOB new product development and new product introduction.

What are you going to do?

  • Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards across global categories and MOB product development and fast track our ideation to the implementation process of new product introductions
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information
  • Define objectives, identifies and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and product development standards, analyzing and resolving quality and problems, and recommending system improvements
  • Accomplish department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities and maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees​
  • Develop Brand equity: Brand Recognition, Brand Awareness and Customer Experience and analyze brand positioning and customer insights.
  • Will be producing global marketing and promotional materials to support the local business unit on marketing
  • Will be responsible for supporting management and development of the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory obligations of MOB and its products throughout the full product lifecycle. Also, you are responsible for maintaining and ensuring that the Company’s Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and international medical device regulatory (MDR) standards.

What is your background?

  • You have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Marketing​ and over 10 years working experience in a similar organization
  • LEAN experience in product development​
  • You have detailed knowledge of the full new product development and new product introduction process and ability to adapt this process to pragmatically deliver challenging targets across the group​
  • Expertise in supporting optimizing of quality assurance and regulatory affairs​
  • You have the ability to shape an organization and drive implementation of governance in the global organizations​ and to develop a Brand strategy and drive business development​
  • You have experience leading a group, prioritize and have high communication skills
