Junior Product Owner

The e-Business team, consisting of one Director and 22 professionals, is together with the digital IT team, responsible for all digital activities within the organization in the Netherlands and Belgium. This includes content management, analytics, web management of a range of web portals (B2C + B2B) and merchandising for the Healthcare market in the Netherlands and Belgium. For further expansion of our activities abroad we are looking to hire a Junior Product Owner who will give support on e-Business activities and initiatives for our German and Swiss Mediq organization.

What are you going to do?

Within the e-Business team you will fulfill the role of Junior Product Owner Business-to-Business ordering and information portal for hospitals and healthcare institutions. In this role you will provide input for the strategic plan for the innovative domain for which you are responsible. By taking the initiative in collecting customer and product information, you know flawlessly what is going on and you put new developments with the right priority on the backlog. You have a connecting character and you work closely with sales and category management. In addition, there is an intensive collaboration with customer contact, supply chain and IT. The geographical focus of this role is on Mediq Germany and Switzerland.

What is your background?

You have a completed HBO or WO education, you are ready for a second step in your career and you have approximately 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the role of product owner or online project manager in the B2B market. You are used to interacting with different stakeholders using the scrum method. Experience within Healthcare and experience with B2B portals are an advantage. Excellent understanding of Dutch, English and German languages is essential.

You are a driven personality who likes to take responsibility and wants to develop continuously. You show that you are strong in building and maintaining internal and external relationships and you have the persuasiveness to get people on the path that we want to take with our B2B portal, where data plays an increasingly important role in decision-making. You have strong communication skills, problem solving and are driven to meet deadlines.
